Our Team

Resource Teachers for Learning and Behaviour are experienced teachers who have a Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching. There are 40 clusters nationally. We have 13 practitioners within our Te Tai Poutini Cluster, including our Cluster Manager and Practice Leader. We provide support throughout our large geographical region that ranges from Karamea to Haast, with offices in Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, and a satellite office in South Westland.

We work within the Learning Support Delivery Model (LSDM), which strengthens how learning support is provided, so that all mokopuna get the right support, in the right place, at the right time. He Pikorua provides a framework that supports RTLB and LS (Learning Support) as practitioners to deliver learning support services within the LSDM.

Each school has a liaison RTLB and they are the easiest way to connect with our service.  Your liaison RTLB will be visible in your school.​
